Baptist Homes, Inc., launched its newest service to seniors over five years ago with the addition of two assisted living locations. Communities with twelve apartments each were opened in Russellville and Glasgow, Kentucky. In 2006 four more beds were added to the Russellville facility, making it a 16-bed operation. BHI Glasgow continues as a twelve-bed resource. This community was laid out virtually identically until the addition was built in Russellville.

Look At What You Get
BHI Assisted Living communities provide standard private bedrooms and several larger rooms. The larger rooms are limited and may require a wait for availability, if requested. The larger rooms can accommodate two clients, such as husband/wife or sisters, etc. All bedrooms include:

• Furniture, unless you prefer to provide your own
• Bed linens and towels
• Basic cable
• Full sized bathroom
• Emergency/monitoring call system
• Closet space
• Carpeted floors
• Mini-blinds

BHI Assisted Living provides a variety of personal services should the need arise which may include: bathing assistance, dressing, medication reminders, and preparing for each day.
